Key Responsibilities
- Lead supplier quality activities for Chinese suppliers serving local and global Komax sites.
- Conduct supplier qualification, audits, and regular performance reviews.
- Ensure supplier processes are capable, stable, and aligned with Komax requirements.
- Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
- Support new supplier onboarding, product launches, and process validation.
- Monitor supplier KPIs and report risks, trends, and improvement actions to management.
- Collaborate closely with procurement, engineering, plants, and global quality teams.
- Support the development of a best-quality and best-cost supplier base with strong supply security.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier quality, quality assurance, or related manufacturing quality roles.
- Experience in a global manufacturing environment, preferably in the machinery industry with high mix low volume set up.
- Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Structured, self-motivated, and independent working style.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% frequently domestically, and internationally from time to time.
- Ability to communicate in a management-appropriate and concise way.
- Strong understanding of supplier audits, quality tools, corrective action processes, and manufacturing quality systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Chinese suppliers in an international supply chain environment.
- Experience supporting multi-site operations across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills in a matrix organization.
- Ability to balance quality, cost, lead time, and supply security.
- Familiarity with supplier development, process capability analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Strong technical understanding

- Takes full accountability for every supplier's quality corrective action follow-up, ensuring closure.
