Senior DevOps Engineer
You will be working on the DiIT Products enabling digitalization of Wire Harness Production. Your remit
- Should drive the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure.
- Extensive experience in cloud platforms, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, containerization, and production operations.
- Close collaboration with software development, QA, security, and IT teams to deliver reliable and efficient software deployment pipelines.
Your profile
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure.
- Build, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Administer cloud infrastructure on Azure cloud.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance using modern observability tools.
- Implement security best practices, vulnerability management, and compliance controls across DevOps processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment strategies and release automation.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Promote DevOps best practices across engineering teams.
- Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high-availability architecture
Technical Skills
Must Have
- Hands-on experience with hybrid application ecosystems (Azure cloud and on-premises).
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration.
- Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with source code management tools such as Git.
- Strong networking expertise with a solid understanding of DNS, load balancing, SSL/TLS, VPNs, and firewalls across both cloud and on-premises environments. This includes hands-on experience with cloud networking technologies such as VNets and SDN, as well as traditional networking infrastructure including switches, routers, hubs, and related enterprise networking components.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, or Datadog.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, secrets management, and security automation.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Good To Have
- Experience working in manufacturing, industrial automation, or engineering organizations.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes security and policy management.
- Experience implementing SRE practices, SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
- Azure cloud certifications are preferred.
