Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer at our Oakville, ON location, you'll play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our business and customers, ensuring ongoing satisfaction within your assigned territory. This full-time, Monday through Friday in-office role involves collaborating closely with clients to nurture established relationships while actively seeking new business opportunities to drive growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Generate, qualify, and diligently follow up on all sales leads to expand customer base.
  • Maintain exceptional customer service to secure client satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams including service, technical support, and management to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Keep the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system current with all sales activities, providing timely and accurate reporting to support business decisions.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations on our products and services tailored to the needs and interests of both current and prospective clients.
  • Conduct equipment training sessions and assist with installations at customer sites, ensuring proper product use and customer empowerment.
  • Collaborate proactively with service and technical support teams to diagnose and resolve technical issues swiftly, minimizing disruption for clients.
  • Engage in miscellaneous projects and duties that contribute to team and company objectives, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.

Candidate Profile:

  • Possesses a minimum of two years of relevant experience combined with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Technical discipline, or an equivalent blend of education and practical experience.
  • Preferably experienced in capital equipment sales; background in the wire processing industry is highly advantageous.
  • Exhibits strong technical aptitude complemented by keen attention to detail.
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing, with excellent organizational and presentation capabilities.
  • Proficient with computer applications, particularly MS Office; familiarity with SAP systems is beneficial.
  • French language skills (speaking, reading, and writing) are considered a valuable asset.
  • Holds a valid Driver's License and Passport, with willingness and availability for frequent travel as part of role requirements.
