Inventory Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, and to ensure timely processing of inventory transactions to deliver outstanding customer support.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participates in all inventory control-related activities.
  • Updates receipt of goods and invoices in the ERP system.
  • Primary back-up for all inventory transactions (transfers, issues, and adjustments).
  • Resolves issues related to inventory variances.
  • Performs physical cycle counting monthly and is part of the team leading the annual physical inventory process; responsible for accounting transactions related to cycle counting and physical inventory.
  • Participates in the RMA process. Physically return items to vendors for credit (unused, overstock, RMAs) and perform related system transactions.
  • Performs tasks related to month-end closings, database/records management, and inventory costing efforts.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining processes and procedures to ensure inventory counts are accurate.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associate's degree with three years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar position required. 
  • Knowledge of ERP and inventory software. 
  • Computer literacy with demonstrated knowledge of MS Office required (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication and interpersonal skills required. 
  • Must be willing to contribute within a team environment
