We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, and to ensure timely processing of inventory transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participates in all inventory control-related activities.
- Updates receipt of goods and invoices in the ERP system.
- Primary back-up for all inventory transactions (transfers, issues, and adjustments).
- Resolves issues related to inventory variances.
- Performs physical cycle counting monthly and is part of the team leading the annual physical inventory process; responsible for accounting transactions related to cycle counting and physical inventory.
- Participates in the RMA process. Physically return items to vendors for credit (unused, overstock, RMAs) and perform related system transactions.
- Performs tasks related to month-end closings, database/records management, and inventory costing efforts.
- Assists in developing and maintaining processes and procedures to ensure inventory counts are accurate.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree with three years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar position required.
- Knowledge of ERP and inventory software.
- Computer literacy with demonstrated knowledge of MS Office required (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Must be willing to contribute within a team environment
