Sales Engineer - Semi Automation

The role of Sales Engineer - Semi Automation is a critical position within our dynamic sales team, blending technical expertise with excellent customer-facing skills to drive the successful adoption of semi-automation solutions. As a Sales Engineer, you will serve as the technical liaison between our company and prospective clients, helping to evaluate their needs, present appropriate semi-automation technologies, and support the sales process from initial inquiry through to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with sales representatives to understand customer requirements and tailor semi-automation solutions to meet technical and business goals.
  • Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations that articulate the benefits and capabilities of our semi-automation systems.
  • Conduct thorough technical assessments and feasibility studies to ensure solutions align with client applications and operational environments.
  • Provide detailed technical proposals and support documentation, collaborating with engineering and product teams to customize offerings.
  • Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals by contributing detailed specifications and technical insight.
  • Work continuously to maintain and enhance technical knowledge in semi-automation technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Support after-sales activities by liaising with project managers, installation teams, and clients to ensure smooth implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to promote our semi-automation solutions and gather market intelligence.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in sales engineering, preferably with a focus on semi-automation or related industrial automation technologies.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex automation systems and communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to deliver persuasive presentations and product demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric mindset and keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with internal teams and external customers.
  • Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience in engineering, mechatronics, automation, or a closely related field is highly preferred.
  • Flexible and adaptive approach, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
