Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our sales and engineering teams, providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle. You will engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their technical needs and challenges, presenting tailored solutions that align with their business goals and drive value.

This role requires a blend of strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills to effectively explain complex concepts to a variety of audiences, from technical stakeholders to business decision-makers. You will collaborate closely with our sales representatives to strategize and deliver compelling demonstrations, proof of concepts, and presentations that highlight the benefits and capabilities of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical consultation and support to the sales team during the pre-sales process.
  • Understand customer requirements and articulate how our solutions meet their specific needs.
  • Prepare and deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and proof of concepts.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to product development.
  • Support the preparation of technical proposals, RFP responses, and pricing strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings as a technical expert.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong technical background in engineering, technology, or a related field, preferably with experience in solution selling.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven ability to understand complex technical concepts and adapt messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles involving technical presentations and demonstrations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving mindset and a passion for delivering customer-centric solutions.
