We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services that meet our company’s quality, cost, and delivery standards.

In this role, the Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and contracting with suppliers to obtain the best value for the organization. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across various departments such as operations, finance, and logistics to understand purchasing needs and optimize procurement strategies. This position requires a proactive approach to vendor relationship management and a thorough understanding of procurement best practices and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement plans that align with organizational goals and budgets.
• Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify potential vendors and alternative sourcing options.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Manage purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation with accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor supplier performance, address any issues or variances, and foster long-term partnerships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast material requirements and optimize inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines related to procurement activities.
• Continuously seek opportunities for cost-saving and process improvements within the procurement function.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field, preferably within a medium to large organization.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills suited for building effective vendor relationships.
• Excellent organizational abilities with keen attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to ethical procurement practices and inclusivity in sourcing decisions.
• >5 years of purchasing experience in a industrial and multinational environment
• Experience with sheet metal and welded assemblies
• Supplier management and contract negotiations
• Initial leadership or project management experience
• SAP experience, preferably in the MM module
• Any Engineering Degree.
