As a Material Management and Purchasing Engineer, he/she will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and components needed for operations. He/she will be responsible for strategically sourcing, procuring, and managing inventory to optimize costs, quality, and delivery timelines. This position requires a blend of technical understanding, strong negotiation skills, and a keen eye for supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Management: He/she will identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
• Procurement & Sourcing: He/she will lead the procurement process for raw materials, components, and services, exploring new sourcing opportunities and implementing best practices.
• Inventory Optimization: He/she will develop and implement strategies for efficient inventory control, minimizing waste and ensuring material availability to meet production demands.
• Cost Reduction & Quality Improvement: He/she will continuously seek opportunities to reduce material costs without compromising quality, and drive initiatives for process improvements within the supply chain.
• Collaboration: He/she will work closely with engineering, production, and finance teams to forecast material needs, resolve supply chain issues, and support project requirements.
