Job Description:
- The ERP Application Manager FICO is responsible for managing small to medium-complex change requests or projects within Functional Area of Finance & Control of ERP, i.e. SAP S/4HANA Public or Private Cloud Edition.
- Work closely with business representatives/ key users/business process owners to analyse needs and propose solutions as well as working with implementation partners to configure S/4HANA modules.
- Secure delivery of high performance on the project goals in the ERP Project Plan or goals defined in User Stories, managing cost, quality and time.
- Help shape business processes and organizational structure in an effective and efficient way.
- Secure the sustainability of the solution through ensuring high availability, economic viability as well as a high level of acceptance amongst the key users and, where applicable, users.
- Define and design business concepts and requirements, assess solution options and approve IT-solutions using professional and business knowledge and considering profitability, quality and risks, including the management of external application experts.
- Analyse Release documentation and propose implementation of future functionality to the key user community and implement, test and train accordingly.
- Significant contribution to the development and improvement of the global SAP S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud template.
- Share knowledge with team members and actively contribute to the improvement of the effectiveness of the team.
Education:
- Technical/Business Administration Degree
Professional experience:
- High level IT education and profound knowledge in the respective field with excellent SAP skills, e.g., as a key user
- Several years of experience in project management for larger projects (national/international)
- Work experience in Finance and Controlling in International SME-Environments
- Experience in usage of methods to define further development of business processes, organizations and their social aspects.
- Experience in methods to identity, determine and define requirements for IT (Requirements Engineering)
Professional and methodological competence:
- Knowledge and experience in project managing processes and organization and information technical tasks
- Knowledge and experience in practical usage of project management methods Practical experience in Change Management and a high social competence
- Analytical and structured approach when salving complex problems
- Deep SAP S/4Hana application expertise in the functional area Finance and Control
- Moderate SAP S/4HANA application expertise in other functional areas, sufficient to understand and identify dependent over and beyond the boundaries of the area of Finance and Controlling
Further qualification criteria:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- High degree of self-management and self-initiative and strong willingness to work in a team
- Great technical (IT) and commercial understanding (Entrepreneurial attitude)
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel approx. 20% globally
