Pay range and compensation package 

Compensation: $25 – $40/hour, based on industry experience, plus bonus opportunity.

Service Engineer

Job Description - 

  • Provide accurate and timely phone support.
  • Set up, install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Komax machines in-house or at customer sites.
  • Reviews and prepares, parts and equipment for return to stock condition.
  • Complete and provide all necessary documentation to customer, sales, and service supervisor and attach it to CRM for in-house work or work at customer sites in a timely manner.
  • Maintain customer and unit history on the CRM database.
  • Input of interactions with customers, sales, etc., must be entered into the CRM database clearly and concisely.
  • Maintain a neat and organized environment at a desk, in-house work areas, and at customer sites.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments or personnel when equipment is needed.

 

Education - 

 

Bachelor's degree in electronics or related experience

 

Work Experience - 

  • Customer Service experience preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with skills in training, installing, and repairing various models of industrial microprocessor-controlled equipment preferred
  • Experience working with ERP and CRM systems preferred

 

Requirements - 

Bilingual (Spanish), preferred 

MS-Office 

General personal computer knowledge 

Must be able to read and comprehend electrical schematics and drawings 

Strong electro-mechanical aptitude 

Good oral and written communication skills

Must have a strong mechanical aptitude

Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail when inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing units to ensure the work is accurate and complete  

Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds waist high alone and to handle up to 100lbs with assistance 

Prolonged standing, sitting, stooping, and bending 

Good manual dexterity, fine motor skills, vision, and hearing 

Frequent travel required 

Valid Passport
