Pay range and compensation package 

Compensation: $80,000-$105,000/annually, based on industry experience, plus bonus opportunity.

Sales Engineer

Job Description:

 

Sales Responsibilities

  • Generates and follows up on all sales leads.
  • Penetrates and closes sales opportunities for Komax machines.
  • Arranges sales calls and provides product demonstrations.
  • Alerts Company of new applications and market conditions.
  • Performs training and installations at the customer’s site.
  • Assists in providing sales tools (cost justifications, financing plans, etc.) to customers.
  • Proposes marketing and advertising activities and assists in performing such activities (trade shows, mini-shows, direct mailings, etc.)
  • Analyzes products in market and makes new product suggestions.
  • Provides headquarters with Trip Reports, Monthly Highlight Report, and Sales Forecasts.

 

Technical Support Responsibilities

  • Provides technical support for customers, employees, and sales representatives.
  • Diagnoses and repairs all types of electro-mechanical and pneumatic machines both in house and at customer facilities.
  • Acquires all required documentation and processes them appropriately.
  • Inputs data and utilizes all required software systems as instructed.
  • Promotes and conducts services to meet established revenue and customer service goals including minimizing backlog and turnaround time.

 

Education

Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or Technical Discipline

 

Work experience

  • Minimum five years technical sales experience involving Aerospace manufacturing businesses
  • Prior experience in capital equipment sales required; experience within wire processing industry is preferred.

 

Expertise and methodology

  • Computer literacy with working knowledge of MS Office required.
  • Strong Electro-mechanical aptitude required.

 

Other requirements

  • Frequent travel is required.
  • Valid Driver’s License and Passport required.
  • Requires the ability to hear, see, and talk, as well as drive an automobile. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Must have the ability to qualify for, use, and maintain a corporate credit card for business expenses.
  • Individual must be detail-oriented, with the ability to function effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and presentation skills required.
