Pay range and compensation package 

Compensation: $23-27/hour, based on industry experience, plus bonus opportunity.

Mechanical Assembler

Job Duties

  • Read and comprehend design instructions and follow established procedures 
  • Align material and put together parts to build complex machines according to specified blueprints or schematics 
  • Collect all materials and equipment needed to begin the building process 
  • Record production quantities and time 
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary products in workstation 
  • Knowledge and use hand tools (i.e., Wrenches, Calipers, Allen Wrench), and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products

Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

 

Work experience:

Two to three years of general assembly in a manufacturing environment.

 

Expertise and methodology –

  • Solid background in blueprint reading, electrical schematics, machine assembly 
  • Proficient with a variety of manual and power tools 
  • Basic math skills and ability to follow step-by-step procedures 
  • Mechanical aptitude is preferred 
  • Microsoft Office 
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area 
  • Occasional overtime
  • Prolonged standing, bending, and sitting are all required 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 
  • Ability to drive and operate a forklift 
  • Good manual dexterity
